Teresa Brunt graduated from Weber State University in 1982 with her associate degree then went back to school in 2012 to earn her bachelor’s degree and again in 2017 to earn her master’s degree in nursing education. She has been a bedside emergency room nurse for most of her nursing career. She is currently the injury prevention and trauma outreach coordinator for Intermountain Medical Center in Murray and work for trauma services. My focus in this role is to promote injury prevention and also does outreach for local EMS partners. She loves being in the community teaching injury prevention and a big part of that outreach centers around “stop the bleed.” She has a very deep appreciation for education and all those that work to educate our children throughout the state of Utah. She is married and has 4 amazing children, and is the proud grandma of three baby boys. She loves reading, playing the piano and educating the public on injury prevention.
