Supply Chain Education in Sudan
3:45 PM - 4:45 PM Sun
My name is Amal Yassin El Siddig, I was born on the 22nd of January,1997. I’m a native Arabic speaker, raised in Khartoum with English as a second language. I graduated from the Sudanese International Academy’s high school. I have worked in Al Salam Rotana hotel, Khartoum in the front office department with a six months experience. Currently, I’m a semifinalist student in Ahfad University’s school of Management Studies. Two years ago, I heard about the rise of Supply Management in Sudan and how important it became in almost all manufacturing and industrial sectors. Unfortunately, there is a huge gap between qualifications and jobs in that area in my country but fortunately, Ahfad University for women was able to capture the opportunity of filling that gap in the near future by providing their students with specialized courses in Supply Chain Management. My strong interest in all business studies drove me to choose this specialty as well as it’s integration in all functions, making it possible to say that it’s the heart of any existing business. It was also such a great honor to become the first specialized batch of Supply Chain Management in the country.
