Historian of religion and law in South and Southeast Asia, using texts and inscriptions in Sanskrit, Prakrit, Old Javanese, and Old Tamil. I study the formation and spread of Brahmanical religious and legal ideals and institutions in the ancient and early medieval periods. Collaborator in the DHARMA project, ERC n ° 809994.
