Honorable Roberto Ramírez is a first-generation American and distinguished member of the judiciary. He serves as both a Colorado State District Court Judge and a Federal Military Court of Appeals Judge. Judge Ramírez holds degrees from the University of Texas at San Antonio, Air University, and South Texas College of Law. He completed post-doctoral military judicial studies at the University of Virginia School of Law. He is the only individual in Colorado to serve simultaneously as a state and federal judge.
