Dr. N.S. ‘Ilaheva Tua’one is an Assistant Professor of Indigenous and Native American Studies at the University of Colorado Colorado Springs. She earned her PhD in British and American Literature from the University of Utah in 2020. Dr. Tua’one is currently writing a book titled Darkening the Enlightenment. As a Tongan-American scholar, she is especially proud of developing and teaching the course “South Sea Tales.” Her work centers on storytelling, identity, and Indigenous knowledge systems.
