Tisha Mendiola Jessop is an educator with a deep passion for science, the arts, and student empowerment. She grew up in Guam and moved to Colorado at age fifteen. Tisha holds Bachelor of Arts degrees in Biology and Chemistry, a Master of Arts in Teaching, and a Master of Science in Chemistry. She has taught across multiple districts and institutions, including Fountain-Fort Carson, Harrison High School, and District 11 Springs Community Night School. She currently teaches first-year chemistry, environmental science, and healthcare-focused freshman seminars.
