Sheriff Andy Brown has over 38 years of Law Enforcement experience. Sheriff Brown first came to work at the Jackson Parish Sheriff’s Office in September of 1985 working on the radio and then in Patrol and Investigations. In 2000, Sheriff Brown was promoted under a new Sheriff to the rank of Chief Deputy. In 2003, he ran and was elected by the people of the Parish to be the next Sheriff of Jackson Parish with over 80% of the vote. Sheriff Brown assumed office on July 1, 2004, and since then has been unopposed in every election. He is currently serving his 19th year as Sheriff. Sheriff Brown joined Six Point Consulting, LLC in 2021.
