David Russo is a dancer, choreographer, and dance educator with a rich background in the world of dance. He received his training in Turin, Genoa, and finally in Stuttgart at the John Cranko School. David is deeply rooted in the Munich dance community. For several years, he has been organizing joint events and interdisciplinary performances in the independent dance scene in Munich. In 2010, he completed his postgraduate studies in ballet pedagogy and began his teaching career at the Ballet Academy of the University of Music and Performing Arts Munich. In 2019, he founded TanzQuelle, an initiative to support Munich's dance professionals. In December 2021, he was elected to the Ethics Committee of the German Dance Association (Dachverband Tanz Deutschland e. V.). Currently, he is the 1st speaker of the Training Conference Dance AK|T and co-curated the Symposium on Dance Education in Transition in November 2022 in Munich, highlighting his dedication to promoting dance education and the dance community.
