Amanda Tongen is a Training Specialist for the Separation Science group at LECO, where she started in 2024. Amanda is an analytical chemist with more than 10 years of industry experience. With a master’s in chemistry from Central Michigan University, her expertise is in thermal and separation techniques. Her passion is training and mentoring both LECO customers and employees. When she isn’t teaching a class, Amanda enjoys making video tutorials for LECOLearn. Outside of work, Amanda is the event planner for her local cat rescue where she also serves on the board of directors.
