Joe Mandell retired from the U.S. Army in 2010 after 20-years of service as a biomedical equipment technician. Joe entered the private sector as an Equipment Planner providing equipment planning and initial outfitting support for over sixteen healthcare projects to include the Brook Army Medical Center Surgical Tower Expansion Project (2011 – 12), Driscoll Children’s Hospital Expansion Project (2015 – 16), Camp Humphreys Replacement Hospital Project (2020 – 21) and the University of Arkansas Orthopedic Surgical Hospital Project (2021 – 22). In 2020, he joined the US Army Health Facilities Planning Agency, Falls Church, VA.
