Workshop Session #3B
1:00 PM - 1:55 PM Sat
Miki Tomita and Hye Jung Kim Tano work at Education Incubator, a local non-profit organization providing education programs for development of purpose, joy, and self determination in service of a better world for all. They developed the Foundations of ALOHA program with Uncle Pono Shim to share the teachings of Pono and his Aunty Pilahi Paki on how to live and grow aloha practices in our daily lives. FOA offers participants social connection, creative outlets, and Hawaiʻi values-based lessons to support our journey to return our homes and selves to centers for learning and healing. They also bring the practices and discipline of ALOHA to companies and organizations through their Aloha x Design work, helping their clients to navigate their personal and professional lives intentionally with aloha.
