I’m Timaiya Stocks, and I’ve proudly served with Guilford County Schools for the past seven years. My journey in education began in the classroom, where I taught across early childhood grade levels from EC Pre-K through 1st grade. Those experiences shaped my deep understanding of how critical the early years are in setting a strong foundation for lifelong learning. Today, I serve as a Kindergarten Transition Coordinator, where I focus on creating smooth, supportive transitions for children and their families as they enter school. I’m passionate about building strong connections between schools, families, and community partners to ensure every child feels confident, welcomed, and ready to thrive. My work is grounded in collaboration, equity, and a commitment to empowering both educators and families to create meaningful, lasting impact for young learners.
