Taylar Green MacQueenette, M.Ed currently serves as the FACE Professional Learning Manager with Scholastic Inc. In this role, she supports districts and schools throughout the nation with implementing and enhancing family engagement practices. She has worked in culturally and linguistically diverse communities and schools as a Community Outreach Coordinator, classroom teacher, Parent Involvement Liaison, and District Family & Community Engagement Liaison. Taylar believes that families are vital to students’ holistic success and achievement and are their child’s first teachers. She is dedicated to improving student achievement by supporting families and school staff in expanding their capacity to build effective family-school partnerships
