Meko is a creative lighting designer with over 15 years of experience in lighting design and project management for projects across Canada and internationally. The projects she worked on range from architectural, transportation, infrastructure and P3 (Public Private Partnership Projects), hospitality, commercial, entertainment, landscape, and public plaza/spaces.
With work experience in lighting technologies and a background in computer science, Meko brings innovative, practical, and economically viable lighting solutions combined with an aesthetic mindset. The principles of her work are to illuminate spaces and places foremost, while providing a delightful and comfortable experience to all users.
Meko is a certified lighting designer (CLD), a Lighting Certified Professional (LC), as well as WELL AP. She understands the role of lighting (both daylight and electrical lighting) in architectural, interior design and engineering. She aims to utilize her extensive experience and knowledge of lighting equipment and systems to enhance and strengthen the end design. She also uses her understanding of sustainability concepts in her design aligns with the LEED, WELL, BREEAM, and Green Globe design principles.
