"Brennan Schumacher leads Mazzetti’s global Lighting Design Studio. Through integrated design, analysis, and modeling, Brennan and his team deliver artful lighting solutions that are technologically-advanced, environmentally responsible, and promote human health. Passionate about sustainable design, his portfolio includes a notable—and growing—list of awards and recognitions, including six AIA COTE Top Ten Awards, several Living Building Challenge projects, more than 20 LEED Platinum, and numerous Net Zero Energy buildings.
Brennan is a LEED Accredited professional, and has authored three books on green building and the LEED Rating System. He developed and taught courses in the Fundamentals of Green Building, which have been presented in universities, as well as public and private agencies, and have helped thousands of professionals become LEED Accredited. He has presented to the Smithsonian Institute, DoE, Green Schools conferences, Sustainable Living Fairs and branches of USGBC. He continues to educate clients and colleagues through presentations and classes on Sustainable Lighting Design and Human Health."
