Commissioner Bomrad serves as the current president of AFCC. She a mediator with Family Matters Resolution Services, LLC, and the Family Mediation Center in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, an interdisciplinary team-based mediation organization. She previously served for 30 years as Judicial Court Commissioner for Washington County, Wisconsin, presiding primarily over family, juvenile, and child protection matters. During her last ten years as commissioner, she presided over the vast majority of the Washington County, Wisconsin post-judgment child custody and placement court cases. Dolores Bomrad also serves on board of the Wisconsin Inter-professional Committee on Divorce (WIPCOD). She is a founding member and past president of the Wisconsin Chapter of AFCC. She has served on the Wisconsin Family Law Board of Directors, the Washington County Coordinated Community Response Team on Domestic Violence, chaired the Washington County Supervised Visitation and Exchange Collaborative, and the Washington County Bar Association Family Law Section, and she coordinated the Washington County Family Law Assistance Program. She is also a two-term former president of the Wisconsin Family Court Commissioners Association. She is deeply dedicated to strengthening family court systems and related mental health services to better support children and their families.
