Steve Veinotte retired from the military in September, 2022 with over 20 years of service. He had one enlisted tour in the US Army Infantry, then joined the NH Army National Guard (NHARNG) as a chaplain after a break in service. Most of his chaplain career was in a full-time capacity with the NHARNG, with an active-duty deployment to Kuwait in 2010-2011. A significant component of his service involved training hundreds of military and veteran families through weekend retreats focusing on communication skills and functioning as a team. Additionally, he intervened with service members and their families in crisis around a host of issues. He led several family retreats for Camp Resilience in a volunteer capacity before becoming Executive Director in October, 2022. Camp Resilience is a non-profit that conducts therapeutic retreats for military veterans, first responders, and their families.
