Are Training Evaluations Really That Important?

Chief Vinnie Baiocchetti started his public safety career in 1976 in the fire service rising to the rank of Chief and continues to serve in that field. He started his law enforcement career in 1983 as a police dispatcher and worked his way up through the ranks, retiring in 2013 as the Chief of Police. During that time, he has served in many aspects of public safety; fire suppression, fire investigation, EMS, general and specialized law enforcement including prosecution, field training, crash reconstruction and administration. Chief Baiocchetti was also responsible for starting, writing, supervising and managing several field training programs, serving as a Field Training Officer, FTO NCO and Training Manager.
Over the years, Chief Baiocchetti has developed and taught courses and seminars on effective and efficient management, leadership, legal aspects and a host of public safety related topics for law enforcement, fire service and EMS professionals, using real life experiences and solutions that he has learned over the past 47 years.
He continues to serve on many community and professional boards, holds an Associate’s Degree in Fire Protection, a Bachelor’s Degree in Human Service from New Hampshire College, is a graduate of the New England Institute of Law Enforcement Management Command Training Program and the Local Government Leadership Institute.
