Alex Ivans is Director of North America for Scytales Inc., where he leads digital identity adoption initiatives across public and private sectors. Scytales serves as the European Commission's reference implementation partner for the EU Digital Identity (EUDI) Wallet under the eIDAS 2.0 Architecture Reference Framework (ARF) and the Digital Services Act, and is the mobile driver's license technology provider for the State of Utah. Alex brings more than a decade of experience driving certification programs in connected vehicles, medical devices, defense, payments, and digital identity. He was part of the founding teams behind industry-first programs including OmniAir Connected Vehicle Certification and the world's first Mobile Driver's License (mDL) certification. He currently holds advisory positions with the NIST NCCoE Digital Identity project and the COVESA In-Vehicle Payments Working Group.
