Alexander Brooks is the Coordinator of Supportive Housing Programs at the NYS Office for People With Developmental Disabilities (OPWDD). He is involved with the creation and management of supportive housing units for people with intellectual and/or developmental disabilities through programs such as the Integrated Supportive Housing program and the Empire State Supportive Housing Initiative. In his prior roles with OPWDD, Alexander was involved with other housing-related initiatives, such as homeownership and rental assistance programs. In his free time, Alexander enjoys volunteering with Stride Adaptive Sports to provide adaptive skiing lessons to people with disabilities. Alexander is a native of Albany, NY and a graduate of the University of Florida.
