Tanya T. Brown is an experienced Program Director with over 20 years in human services, specializing in supportive housing, workforce development, and client-centered program design. She currently serves at the Bowery Residents’ Committee (BRC), where she oversees multi-site operations delivering housing placement, employment services, and connections to mental health support for vulnerable New Yorkers. Throughout her tenure, Tanya has expanded programming across multiple sites, increasing outcomes by more than 50% while ensuring compliance, safety, and high-quality service delivery. She has also led the development of retention and aftercare initiatives that strengthen long-term housing and employment stability, and has contributed to cross-agency efforts that improve client access to critical resources.
