Thacher Tiffany, Goddard Riverside’s Chief of Housing Development, has 20 years of experience in housing and community development. He oversees all of Goddard Riverside’s efforts to rehabilitate and build affordable and supportive multifamily properties. Before joining Goddard Riverside, he was Director of Development for Beacon Communities for 10 years, a real estate firm that develops, acquires, invests in, and manages a wide range of multifamily housing including affordable housing. In this capacity, Thacher oversaw the development and recapitalization of over 1,500 units of affordable housing across New York State, Connecticut and Massachusetts. As Project Manager at Preservation of Affordable Housing Thacher coordinated the acquisition and redevelopment of at-risk affordable housing, including due diligence, financing, design and rehabilitation. He has a Masters in City Planning from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and a BA in Economics from Hobart and William Smith Colleges.
