As Assistant Vice President for The Foundling’s Young Adult Housing programs, Tiffany Walker implements innovative programming to foster community engagement and personal development for young adults aging out of foster care and experiencing chronic homelessness. With a keen understanding of housing insecurity and the challenges faced by these populations she has developed vibrant programming and supportive living environments for young adults in need. Tiffany joined The Foundling in 2012 as a case planner in Y.E.S housing and moved on to become a Supervisor, and Program Director. She has provided operational oversight as The Foundling’s Supportive Housing has expanded to include NY3, NY 15/15, and ESSHI programs. Throughout her time with The Foundling, Tiffany has partnered with businesses and agencies, including KPMG, TD Bank, Fair Futures, and SHNNY to enhance accessibility to resources and advocate for increased housing opportunities in NYC. Tiffany has shared her passion for this work, internally collaborating with The Foundling’s Dorm Project development and externally providing supportive housing guidance presentations to young adults in partnering foster care agencies in the city. Tiffany holds a Bachelor’s degree and Master’s degree from New York University, both in Social Work. She is an LMSW and holds SIFI certification.
