Born and raised in New York City, Wendell is a graduate of Iona College and Benjamin Cardozo School of Law. His background includes serving as a legislative assistant with a US Congressman and as an Assistant Commissioner with the City of New York’s Department of Housing Preservation and Development. He has been at Osborne since 2019 where he served as Manager of Policy and Advocacy in the Osborne Center for Justice Across Generations (OCJAG) with a focus on parole reform, de-carceration, support for the incarcerated aging community, reentry housing and Rikers Island. He now oversees all of Osborne’s reentry housing efforts and manages the overall development, strategic planning, and service delivery of housing projects and housing-related real estate ventures.
