Isabel Bazaldua, MSW, is the Development Unit Supervisor for the Bureau of Housing Development and Support at the New York State Office of Mental Health (OMH). In this role, she leads a dedicated team of project managers overseeing the development of OMH’s community-based capital initiatives, including supportive housing, crisis services, Comprehensive Psychiatric Emergency Programs (CPEP), and inpatient projects. Isabel earned her Bachelor of Science in Human Development from Cornell University and her Master of Social Work from Binghamton University. Before joining OMH’s Housing Bureau she worked in clinical practice with children and adolescents, cultivating a strong foundation in behavioral health and client-centered care which she brings to her leadership in mental health infrastructure development.
