Brett is Vice President for Multifamily Finance at NYS Homes and Community Renewal (HCR), overseeing the 9% LIHTC team and representing HCR on the Empire State Supportive Housing Initiative (ESSHI) Interagency Workgroup. Brett previously served as Director of Housing at the Office of Mental Health (OMH) and Assistant Director of the Bureau of Housing and Support Services at the Office of Temporary and Disability Assistance (OTDA) with responsibility for managing the Homeless Housing and Assistance Program (HHAP). He holds M.A. in public policy analysis from the University at Albany, and a B.A. in sociology from Skidmore College.
