Sybil Newell is the Chief Executive Officer of RISE Housing & Support Services, a community-based organization dedicated to supporting individuals experiencing homelessness, mental illness, and substance use challenges based in Saratoga Springs NY. A longtime nonprofit leader, Newell began her career in the human services field in 2000. Her work has spanned a variety of roles, from providing a decade of frontline care at hospitals and community organizations, to working administratively at the NYS Department of Health, before joining the executive leadership of RISE in 2016. Over the course of her career, Newell has played a pivotal role in expanding resources, strengthening community partnerships, and advocating for innovative housing solutions. Her leadership reflects a deep commitment to client-centered care and community impact, shaped by years of hands-on experience and the belief that stable housing is the foundation upon which individuals and families can rebuild their lives.
