Ryan is inspired by New York City’s nearly 2 million diverse older adults. They embrace longevity and enrich the communities they built and plan to stay in. Ryan’s social and economic justice lens was shaped by service in nonprofits and earning a master’s degree in public health from Hunter College, City University of New York (CUNY). He has since served in executive roles in multiple New York City agencies. He is proud to be an advocate and to lead teams that respond to the fundamental health, safety, housing and pocketbook needs of New York City’s fastest growing population.
