Adama Joy Sall is a dynamic griotte; a musical storyteller, playwright, improviser and drama therapy student, committed to amplifying the voices, experiences, and dreams of all people through her multifaceted artistry. As a griotte, her mission is clear: to honor the past and people that have come before her, embrace and interrogate the present, and inspire future generations with the transformative power of story. She is very grateful to be continually finding her unique place in the drama therapy field and to have conversations with people about the transformative impact of the practice. Later on this year she will be co-presenting /sharing a new performance piece at the NADTA Conference that she hopes leaves audiences with questions around how we can better acknowledge the people and histories that serve as foundations for the work we do!
