Sara Reyes is the Program Director of East Clarke Place Senior Residence at Volunteers of America-Greater New York (VOA-GNY), where she oversees a 122-unit supportive housing community for older adults. With nearly a decade of experience in the social services field, Sara has dedicated her career to helping individuals achieve stability, independence, and improved quality of life through supportive housing. Beginning her career as a Case Manager in 2016, Sara advanced through a series of leadership roles before becoming Program Director in 2023. Throughout her career, she has supported and helped lead services for more than 600 residents, bringing a deep understanding of the challenges and opportunities facing individuals living in supportive housing. Over the past three years, Sara has specialized in senior housing, leading efforts to create safe, resident-centered environments that promote dignity and independence. Her work focuses on ensuring older adults have access to the resources, support, and community connections they need to thrive. Sara holds a Master of Social Work from the Wurzweiler School of Social Work and a Bachelor of Science in Economics from John Jay College of Criminal Justice.
