Erin Hannafin is the Deputy Chief at Lakes Region Mutual Fire Aid (LRMFA) in Laconia, New Hampshire, where she has been dedicated to the department for over 11 years. With a career spanning 19 years in public safety, Erin brings a wealth of experience in various roles within the field. She holds degrees in Fire Science and Fire Investigation from Lakes Region Community College in New Hampshire, underscoring her strong foundation in emergency services.
Erin's extensive background includes a broad range of positions in public safety communications. She has worked as a dispatcher, a trainer, and the training coordinator, all of which paved the way for her current leadership position in administration. In addition to her duties at LRMFA, Erin is actively involved in the broader public safety community. She serves as a director for the New Hampshire Emergency Dispatchers Association (NHEDA) and plays a key role in overseeing the training committees for NHEDA, Atlantic APCO, and LRMFA, demonstrating her commitment to advancing the profession through education and training.
