Michael Beuhler, MD - is an Adjunct Professor of Emergency Medicine at Wake Forest University School of Medicine and a Medical toxicologist at Atrium Health in Charlotte, North Carolina. He is the medical director of North Carolina Poison Control. He has authored several textbook chapters on chemical exposures, envenomations, phosphorus, and drugs of abuse. Research publications include work on acetaminophen, bupropion, snakes, and poison centers. He lives in Charlote, NC with his wife Patti.
