Gaylord Lopez is a graduate of the University of California at San Francisco, School of Pharmacy where he received his Doctorate in Pharmacy. Following graduation, he went on to complete a Post Graduate Fellowship in Clinical Toxicology at the Pittsburgh Poison Center. From 1988-2020, he served as Director of the Georgia Poison Center. Currently he is serving in the capacity as Executive Director of Center located at Grady Health System. In 1992, he attained Diplomate status with the American Board of Applied Toxicology and is an active member of this organization.
