Jon B. Cole, MD is a medical toxicologist and emergency physician at Hennepin Healthcare in Minneapolis, Minnesota, USA. He is Professor of Emergency Medicine at the University of Minnesota Medical School and has been Medical Director of the Minnesota Regional Poison Center since 2011. His work focuses on emergency pharmacology, management of drug-induced shock and delirium, care of patients with substance use disorders in the emergency department, and optimizing care delivered via poison centers. He received the 2011 North American Congress of Clinical Toxicology Outstanding Young Investigator Award and the 2024 Society for Academic Emergency Medicine Rakesh Engineer Award for best implementation of evidence-based healthcare.
