11:00 AM - 11:30 AM Fri
Carrie Oakland is the clinical supervisor and a clinical toxicologist at the Minnesota Regional Poison Center. She completed her PGY1 Pharmacy Residency at North Memorial Hospital in Minneapolis and began working at the poison center following residency. Carrie serves as an adjunct clinical assistant professor at the University of Minnesota College of Pharmacy. Her clinical and professional interests include toxicokinetics and antidotal therapy, toxicology education and outreach, and poison center program development. Outside of poison center work, she enjoys staying active, time with family and friends, and trying new restaurants—believing strongly that cardio and carbs can coexist.
