Sylvia Brown, MPH, MCHES®, serves as the Community Program Educator for the Pittsburgh Poison Center. She earned her Master of Public Health from the University of Pittsburgh Graduate School of Public Health. In her role, Sylvia leads community education and outreach efforts, designing, implementing, and evaluating poison prevention programs tailored to diverse audiences. She also cultivates strong partnerships with organizations and coalitions to expand the reach and impact of poison prevention initiatives. Sylvia has contributed her expertise across multiple educator subcommittees and currently serves as Senior Co‑Chair of the Educators Advisory Council.
