Kim Bartel has been with the Alcohol & Drug Awareness Council for 11 years serving as the Regional Alignment Coordinator to connect regional stakeholders and collect regional data. He is also the instructor for the DWI Repeat Offender program in East Texas. Additionally, he pastors a “House Church” in Lufkin, ministering to those recovering from substance use. He has been married to his wife, Julie, for 35 years and has 4 children and 2 grandsons. He is compassionate about helping those who struggle with substance dependency and a vocal advocate for recovery.
