Matt Craven, LPC, is a Licensed Professional Counselor with extensive experience providing trauma-informed care to children, adolescents, and adults in community-based settings. He currently practices at Connections Counseling & Psychological Services, where he works with individuals impacted by trauma, stress, and emotional dysregulation.
Matt has also worked as a counselor with the Family Crisis Center of East Texas, where he provided trauma-informed therapy to individuals and families affected by interpersonal violence, crisis, and acute stress. His work included individual therapy, supporting survivors in both clinical and shelter-based settings. Matt’s background in community mental health, combined with his commitment to evidence-based, compassionate care, allows him to translate complex trauma concepts into practical, accessible strategies for healing and recovery.
