I began my career in 2014 as an Emergency Communication Specialist for Augusta Regional Communications Center in Augusta, ME. I dispatched as an Emergency Communications Specialist from 2014 – 2016. In 2016 I took a position as an SBI Specialist working for the State Bureau of Identification. I became fully trained in the identification of fingerprints and how to properly submit those prints to the FBI for criminal history. I also assisted in establishing the SBI training unit. The unit was responsible for all in house training and all training for outside agencies. This could be anything from dealing with how to properly take fingerprints and submit to the FBI for criminal history or how to read rap sheets. I worked as an SBI Specialist from 2016 to 2020. In 2020 I took a position with the Maine State Police Access Integrity Unit as a Management Analyst II. As a Management Analyst II, I would monitor the METRO - Maine Electronic Telecommunications Routing and Operations system . This would entail quality control on data entry and transmission of teletypes in and out of the system. Monitoring all records within the State database and NCIC for accuracy, completeness, and timely entry. In 2020 I also began working as the backup administrator for the State Police RMS system, Motorola Spillman. In October 2020,after a 80-hour Methods of Instruction course at the Maine State Police Academy in Vassalboro, ME, I became a Maine Certified Instructor. As a certified instructor I would teach 40-hour classes for all new dispatchers within the state of Maine. In July of 2022 I was promoted as the AIU Systems Manager. I currently oversee the Access Integrity Unit, Records Management Systems unit, and the Uniform Crime Reporting unit. In 2023 I was appointed as the NLETS Representative for the state of Maine, I am Vice Chair for Region A and just this year I became an NLETS Certified Trainer. With my promotion I also took over the role as a primary administrator for the State Police RMS system, Motorola Spillman.
