Wendy Bruce Shouse is the Chief Operations Officer for Blue Grass Community Action Partnership in Frankfort, KY. She graduated from Eastern Kentucky University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Child and Family Studies. From there, she worked briefly in Child Protection Services before finding her way to Community Action. Wendy has been a part of Community Action for 24 years and served as the Senior Director of Aging Services and Senior Director of Community Services before being named the COO of Blue Grass Community Action Partnership. Wendy served three terms as a City Councilmember for the City of Lawrenceburg, KY, and is passionate about Community Level Work. She is the proud mother of two sons, Lyndon who is an Industrial Organizational Psychologist in Ohio and Lincoln who is a sophomore at Eastern Kentucky University.
