Charlene Engle has been in the field of early childhood for more than 40 years. She spent 33 years of her career at a community action agency, where she held a variety of positions, including the Director of the Head Start program. Ms. Engle was appointed CEO in 2014 which she held until her retirement in 2022. After retiring, Ms. Engle founded her own successful business, Engle Consulting Services, LLC. In addition to offering consulting services for businesses and organizations, she serves as lead for Head Start federal reviews. She holds a Bachelor’s of Science with an emphasis in early childhood.
