Robin Whitaker, Executive Director of Daniel Boone Community Action Agency, Inc. (DBCAA), holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting from Eastern Kentucky University. She began her career in manufacturing accounting before transitioning over to public accounting, where she spent three and a half years before taking a position with EKCEP. In her two years at EKCEP as Assistant Controller, she helped oversee the Accounting Department while also traveling across 23 counties in the state conducting onsite financial monitoring for their workforce programs. Robin joined DBCAA over 22 years ago, serving as Chief Financial Officer before stepping into the role of Executive Director in April 2022. Her leadership and commitment to the agency’s mission have helped strengthen programs and services throughout the region. Outside of her professional accomplishments, Robin enjoys spending time with her family—her husband, Scott, and their two daughters, Madison and Alexandria.
