She has been a licensed paramedic for more than 20 years. Her passion and dedication to EMS as an integral part of public health, public safety, and the healthcare system is built from her time serving in Michigan. She has served as an EMT, paramedic, field training officer, critical care paramedic, operations supervisor, instructor for classes from first aid to paramedic, a developer and clinician for a community paramedic program, and the Medical Control Authority Coordinator for the EMS Office.
