Tony is a frequent speaker on excavation safety, utility damage and recovery issues. He has given dozens of presentations over the years at the CGA Excavation Conference, Global Excavation Safety Conference, Missouri CGA, and the Oklahoma Excavation Safety Conference concerning investigation, pursuit, and defense of claims for damage to underground utility facilities. He recently authored an article entitled, "The Economic Loss Doctrine and Why it Matters in Utility Damage Cases" which was published in the June 2023 Issue of Excavation Safety Magazine. Tony also serves as counsel to the North American Damage Prevention Council where, among other things, he prepared a comprehensive survey of one-call legislation, helped develop a model one-call law, and reviews pending legislative developments impacting buried utility facilities.
Tony is admitted to practice in Oklahoma, Colorado, the United States District Courts for the Northern, Eastern and Western Districts of Oklahoma, the United States District Courts for the Districts of Colorado and New Mexico, the United States Courts of Appeal for the Fourth, Fifth, Tenth and Eleventh Circuits, and by motion in numerous state and federal courts throughout the Country.
