Kelly is the Director of the Global Food Safety Center of Excellence at General Mills. In this role, she has global accountability for the Food Safety Auditing Team, food safety technical experts, sanitation, as well as regulatory compliance. Kelly joined General Mills in 2004 and has held varying roles in the Quality Organization, including 3 field assignments (Quality Engineering and Quality Manager), Manager of Microbiology, Manager of Premiums, Licensing and Sampling activities and FSMA implementation lead. Her previous experience includes 8 years at Campbell Soup Company in the Microbiology and Food Safety team. Kelly has her M.S. and Ph.D. degrees in Food Science from North Carolina State University.
