Amy Altadonna is a sound designer for theatre. She is also a Senior Lecturer and the Undergraduate Program Director at UMass Amherst, where she has fallen in love with teaching. As a founding Artistic Associate with the NYC theatre company Colt Coeur, she has designed the world premieres of many plays, including Dry Land by Ruby Rae Spiegel and Eureka Day. She has designed with friends and colleagues at Shakespeare & Company, OSF, Alabama Shakespeare Festival, Utah Shakespearean Festival, The Warehouse Theatre, Dorset Theatre Festival, Round House Theatre and many others. When she's not in the theatre or the classroom, Amy serves on the executive board of TSDCA, and is a Co-Chair of the USITT Sound Commission. She loves rats (pet, wild, and land-mine sniffing) and her human nephew, James.
