Kimberly's evocative set and exhibit designs have been seen in various venues across the country. Theatre credits include productions at Lyric Theatre of Oklahoma (OK), Virginia Repertory Theatre (VA), Trike Theatre (AR), Southern Repertory Theatre (LA), Stages Repertory Theatre (TX), Children's Musical Theater San Jose (CA), Orlando Repertory Theatre (FL), TheatreSquared (AR), National Theatre Conservatory (CO), Children's Theatre of Charlotte (NC), Cape Fear Regional Theatre (NC), Theatre By The Sea (RI), Potsdam Music Theatre (NY), Northern Stage (VT), West Texas A & M University (TX), Porthouse Theatre (OH), Eastman School of Music (NY), Seaside Music Theater (FL), IBEX Puppetry (FL), Atlantic Stage (SC), Warehouse Theatre (SC), and The University of Arkansas (AR).
She was the Resident Set Designer and Props Master for Ocean State Theatre Company’s inaugural season 2012-2013; Resident Set Designer for Ohio Light Opera (2008-2015); and first Design Assistant at The Denver Center Theatre Company for the 2006-2008 seasons. She also worked at the Cleveland Play House as a scenic artist in 2003-2003.
Kimberly has been a freelance scenic artist since 2000. Notable clients include: Hangar Theatre (NY), New York Music Theatre Festival (NY), Signature Theatre (VA), and Lyric Theatre (OK), TheatreSquared (AR), among others. She has also created public art in Arkansas and Tulsa and has been commissioned as a fine artist and muralist. Additionally, she has worked professionally as a props master, event designer and coordinator, graphic designer, and exhibit designer and has taught in the Theatre Departments at The University of Arkansas, Coastal Carolina University, The University of Tulsa, and Colby College.
She received her Master of Fine Arts degree in Scenic Design from Kent State University and is a proud member of United Scenic Artists Local 829.
