Dr. David K. Hatch serves as Global Thought Leader for FranklinCovey Education. He is co-author of "The Leader in Me", as well as the forthcoming "Teacher Believed in Me".
For the past 15 years, Dr. Hatch has worked as a senior consultant and lead content developer for FranklinCovey Education's renowned "Leader in Me" whole-school model, which currently reaches 7,000 schools in over 50 countries. He helped build the process from its inaugural beginnings, working alongside Dr. Stephen R. Covey, Muriel Summers, and others. His work has taken him to over 40 countries, where he has developed a deep appreciation for teachers and students of all cultures.
Prior to joining FranklinCovey Education, Dr. Hatch co-authored "Everyday Greatness" with Dr. Covey, and consulted with numerous corporate education organizations. He was responsible for developing early versions of FranklinCovey training workshops, such as Principle-Centered Leadership and the classic 7 Habits of Highly Effective People. His leadership assessments and tools have been utilized by hundreds of organizations and over 100 thousand leaders.
With his depth of background in social and organizational psychology, Dr. Hatch has most recently dedicated his full attention to helping teachers address the social and emotional needs of students. His passion is to bring positive skills for positive living to students around the world. Authoring "Teacher Believed in Me" is the beginnings of what he views as a long-term endeavor.
