Lauren Workman is the Associate Director at the Center for Applied Research and Evaluation (CARE) and a Research Assistant Professor in the Department of Health Services Policy and Management in the Arnold School of Public Health, University of South Carolina. Lauren is passionate about community engaged research and evaluation, health promotion, and programs focused on supporting children and families. Dr. Workman received an MPH (2006) and PhD (2013) in Health Promotion, Education, and Behavior from the University of South Carolina’s Arnold School of Public Health. At her home in Columbia, SC, Lauren enjoys time with her husband and two daughters, gardening, and spending time outside.
