Vicki Johnson-Lawrence is a senior health equity researcher and Program Director in the Community Health and Implementation Research Program at RTI International. She is a scientist and consultant with 20 years of experience in quantitative analysis, research, public health education, and professional development. She is an expert in community-based participatory research, particularly in health equity for aging adults. Her previous work included leadership of community-engaged behavioral public health initiatives through a multiyear public health crisis using evidence-based and trauma-informed practices. Dr. Johnson-Lawrence currently works on various research and evaluation projects to uplift trauma-informed and community-engaged methods for advancing health equity through scientific efforts.
